Tour Bali 5 Days / 4 Nights
Part of the tours are taking place in the off the beaten track areas, using the four wheeled drive vehicle.
Day 1 : Tanah Lot – Bedugul – Singaraja (145 km)
Leaving the hotel in the morning visiting a bit of western part of the island. There is Tanah Lot, a beautiful temple built on the rock by the beach facing the Indian Ocean. Afterwards drive through the rural areas (villages) where the inhabitants are specialized in manufacturing tiles made of clay. Lunch is possible in a local restaurant in Tabanan , and then up drive to Batukaru, the region famous for its beautiful terraced riced fields. At the far end of the villages a temple was built on the site bordering the rain forest, just on the foot of Mount Batukaru. Afternoon on to Bedugul, a mountain resort area with its beautiful lake Bratan and the local fruit market. Drive on to Singaraja on the north part of the island. Night at Aneka Lovina Hotel, on the beach of Lovina (**) or for a better hotel (***) Puri Bagus Lovina
Day2 : Kintamani – Ubud (80 km)
There is a possibility to make an optional sailing tour early in the morning to watch dolphins swimming offshore. It can be arranged and paid on the spot. The pre-arranged tour starts at around 9 o’clock (or earlier). It goes to Kintamani, a mountain located rather in the east, visiting the village of Soongan inside the caldera , the lake Batur and the remnant of the volcanic eruption happened nearly half a century ago. Afternoon drive down on the other flank. An archeological remain of Gunung Kawi is worth visiting. End of the afternoon you arrive in Ubud, the famous art village. Accommodation is either Arma Resort (***) or higher category Pita Maha or Similar Arma Resort (***)
Jour 3 : Région de Ubud (25 km)
Trekking is the program of the day, walking through the treks usually used by local villagers. This will enable you to encounter the local people in their daily activities, working on their rice fields or in their homes. A small museum with collection of leather puppets and masks is in the vicinity and worth visiting. Back by mid afternoon and you have leisure time to explore the small city on your own way. A traditional dance is organised on the court of the local royal palace in the evening. You can book and ticket is paid on the spot (not included in our program). Another night in Ubud.
Day 4 : Ubud – Est de l’ile (90 km)
Depart for exploring the eastern part of Bali. Royal Court of Justice of the XVIII century in Klungkung, the small village of Tihingan where the inhabitants make musical instruments in traditional way. Terraced rice fields are located also in the area aroung Muncan. In the city of Karangasem on the far east it is possible to stop at the royal palace. End of afternoon the tour finishes in Candi Dasa. Accomodation at Hôtel Rama Candi Dasa (***) or Alila Manggis (****)
Day 5 : Classical Bali (80 km)
Not far from Candi Dasa there is Tenganan Village, an ancient village where a small community live in a manner which is different than the rest of the population. Their belief and tradition derived from the older civilisation of the Bali. Communal houses and belonging is the main principals in this area. Afternoon drive toward Gianyar. A market with stands selling local delicacies. Afterward on to Sanur or Jimbaran or Nusa Dua or Kuta in the south. End of the program.
